The Russian Circles and their distinct instrumental rock is a favorite with Austin audiences. They played SXSW in 2006, 2007 and 2008. To no one’s surprise, they also drew a large cowed at this year’s Fun Fun Fun fest. Russian Circles formed as a band in 2004. After switching bass players in 2007, the band’s current line-up released their latest album Station in 2008. These guys gave quite a performance, they are no shoegazers!
