Austin, Texas – February 2, 2012: Days after Kelly Clarkson sang at the NFL Superbowl with her brand new hair do, form blond to brunet, she came to Austin on her “Stronger” tour. As the first ever American Idol winner, she is the poster child of success. With a great voice, outgoing personality and “the girl next door” smile she has brought Simon Fuller untold riches and fame with his brain child called American Idol. The beautiful Long Center was sold out with a mixed crowd of young and old fans. From the moment she walked on stage, the audience was on their feet and never sat down, at least for the first three song after which I had to leave as photographer.
